Description

This is the perfect hunt for anyone looking for a "sheep-like" hunt in Europe. Hunting these free range mouflan has been compared to any big mountain bighorn hunt. Hunter can prepare for 6-7 hours of hiking a day in very steep and rocky terrain. This is fully guided 3 day/3 night hunt. All meals and lodging will be provided. 1 hunter will be with 2-3 guides. This is a very exclusive hunt. Only 5-6 hunters are taken each year to keep trophy quality high. There are 3 different private areas the outfitter is permitted to hunt on. On a windless morning, it may be possible to see 30 plus legal rams. Option for a non-hunter observer, and option to add additional species for a trophy fee.

        Refund Policy:

        Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Dream full curl rams Iberian Mouflon are a realistic goal in these areas. Several species are available to add to this hunt.

        Hunter has 2 options for lodging. Option one is to stay at the guide's mountain house. This house is closet to the hunting area and is located in a small town-only 16 people live in this town. Simple house. Very clean and comfortable. Full of trophies. 63 year old guide full of trophies. private rooms. private bathroom. This is the closest option to the hunting area. Other option would be a local hotel, but hunter can expect a longer commute to get to the hunter area as it is not in the same town. *Photos coming soon.

        All meals will be included in this hunt. If hunter chooses to at the guide's home, the guide will provide homemade Spanish cuisine food-local mushrooms, and gathered vegetables from greenhouse. Breakfast and dinner will be served at the home, and field lunch in the field will be provided. If hunter chooses to stay at a hotel, breakfast and dinner will be provided at the hotel with lunch in the field.

        This is a very physically demanding hunt. There are three different areas the outfitter is permitted to hunt. Hunter can expect to hike 6-7 miles a day in very steep country. Some driving is possible, but hunter must be willing to hike to have opportunity at a mature ram.


        Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

        Final Destination city when flying is Madrid, Spain. Outfitter will pick up hunter at the airport and assist with importation of firearms and ammunition. The camp is approximately 3.5 hour East drive from Madrid.

        Description

        This is a very physical hunt and hunter should be prepared to hike. Field transportation will be limited to truck, but this hunt will all be on foot. Snow may be present, so hunter should be prepared with gaiters and waterproof or insulated boots. Layering systems are strongly recommended as mornings and evenings may be cool, but temperature may rise in the middle of the day. Outfitter will provide meals and lodging for this hunt.
