Description

The only safari camp in Alaska! It's like camping ... but they call it Glamping! And it's on the Nushagak River - the world's most prolific King Salmon fishery in the world. This deluxe camp comes complete with chef and separate dining tent. If you want hot dogs and cold sandwiches ... this is not the camp for you. Everything is set on wooden platforms, so nothing is situated flat on the dirt. Guest tents have double beds, luggage racks, 200' sq ft of space, screened in porch and access to hot pressurized showers and flush toilets. No outhouses here. Clients fly in from Dillingham Alaska via float plane or wheeled aircraft to the nearby gravel strip for transport to camp. Sockeye, Chum, Dolly Varden, Northern Pike and Rainbows may also be pursued - however the primary is the epic run of King Salmon! Camp is located upstream from the bay and is still at the edge of title water. This is not river fishing for spawned out fish - these are chrome kings, fresh into the river. The fishing from camp is excellent as well as from the boats. At night, some clients wear themselves out fishing with the 24 hours of daylight for kings and chum from shore at camp. This is a 3 day, 2 night adventure. Option to add an additional day and night to the trip.

    Description

Remote and deluxe Glamping experience, with guided fishing, and all tackle included. If fly fishing is preferred, client must bring their own. Double beds with linens, propane heaters, luggage stands, screen in porch, truly great meals and riverfront fire pit sitting area. It's a camp experience worthy of the world famous Nushagak and remote Alaska. It might be remote, but it doesn't have to mean "roughing it." The term Glamping is a popular word these days and we'd say we fit that description. We have Deluxe 200 sq/ft tents, with double beds and very comfortable bedding. Clients can enjoy hot pressurized showers and even flush toilets. Meals, refreshments, snacks including of course fresh fish, with little specialties such as salmon caviar and chinook sashimi. The western view gives us a great waterfront sunset, in a truly peaceful setting. It's a great fishing location, but more-so, it's a great overall experience. This outfit only caters to small groups with a maximum of 12 people.
