Description

The moment you step foot on Lana’i, it’s clear that it’s different from any other Hawaiian Island. Nicknamed the Pineapple Island due to its past as the world’s largest pineapple plantation, Lana’i has an abundance of untouched beauty. In the uplands, you’ll find mist-shrouded mountains and forests of Cook Island pines. White-sand beaches and red lava cliffs dominate the coastline, while clear Pacific waters host a rich marine ecosystem. There are no stop lights, and many of the island’s landmarks are best explored with a four-wheel drive vehicle. This island is around 90,000 acres and holds thousands of free range axis! Game density is extremely high! This is a 1:1 fully guided 2 day hunt for big free range axis bucks in Hawaii! This hunt includes 1 buck and 1 doe. Description

Hunt for unique species during your stay, including Axis deer and Mouflon sheep. The 90,000-acre island of Lana’i is home to the highest density of free-range Axis deer in the world. Hunters can expect to see hundreds of deer per day, and will spot and stalk either in a large, flat plain known locally as “the Serengeti,” or in the steep mountainous region that is heavily forested along the shores. Alternatively, for long range shooters, hunters can opt to set up at shooting benches strategically positioned throughout the island. Unlike international destinations, it is easy to transport your personal firearms to this exotic domestic destination. Lana’i is also home to a world-class sporting clays course as well as archery, pistol, and rifle ranges. The sporting clays course is extremely picturesque, and can be enjoyed by beginner and expert shooters alike. This is a 1:1 fully guided 2 day hunt for one axis buck and one doe. Additional deer and days can be added to the hunt for additional costs. Non-hunters may accompany for no extra charge. The outfitter will take your cape/horns and meat to a local butcher. He will process and send it with hunter if possible (packed and following weight limitations) or send it frozen UPS or FedEx. Horns and cape will be prepped and sent to hunter's taxidermist of choice.
